Privacy
Short version: we keep as little as we can and never sell it.
What we store
- Your X handle, runner number, kilometers, and anything you add to your profile (name, country, product, AI tool). These are public on your runner page and in the anonymous totals on /stats, unless you set your page to private.
- Your public X profile basics (name, profile picture link, follower count), looked up through twitterapi.io when you sign up and refreshed weekly. Follower counts only appear as a combined total on /stats.
- Product icons on /building are loaded from Google's favicon service using the product's domain.
- Your email, to send login links and the event emails. Never shown, never shared with sponsors.
- Your time zone, so Dec 29–31 opens at your midnight.
- A hashed form of your IP address for an hour or so, to stop spam sign-ups.
Emails
Account emails (login links) and four event emails between Dec 28 and Jan 1. Couch to Commit emails only if you opted in. You can switch them off in your settings.
Deleting
Delete your entry any time from your runner page settings. It removes your runs, card and email right away.
